WHAT IS A MIND MAP?
A mind map is a graphic organizer that can serve a variety of functions. There are commercial mind maps that can be purchased an installed, such as Inspiration and Kidspiration. There are also free mind mapping apps available on the web. Sometimes a subscription is required in order to use the more advanced functions or to save a certain amount on the app.
There are directions for three different mind mapping apps on this page: Gliffy, Bubbl.us, and Mind42. Look through each app, and choose one to create a mind map of your current PLN/PLE. Take some time to look over the other online apps available as well.
